3月建築支出上升0.3%

依美國商務部(Commerce Department)5/4公佈之報告﹐3月份總建築支出9,697億美元, 較上月增加0.3%﹐相較去年同期則減少11.1%.

3月份私人領域建築支出下降0.1%﹐至6,610億美元. 其中住房建築相關支出下降4.2%, 較去年同期下降34%; 非住房建築支出則非預期的上升2.7%, 相較去年同期上升1.2% . 主要來自教育、電力及製造業之建築支出增加.

州及聯邦政府構成的公共領域建築支出3月份增加1.1%﹐至3,087億美元.

Briefing:

Notwithstanding the positive surprise in March, it is our expectation that nonresidential construction will likely remain extremely weak. Nonetheless, the March report has been viewed as good news and an incremental positive when contemplating the revisions to Q1 GDP data.
